Detailed Job Description:

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 4 years of Information Technology experience At least 5+ years of experience in SQL server administration, architect and design area Should have worked in SQL Server Advanced Features like Replication and Always on Perform backups and restores Setup High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server Implement operational automation using scripts. Work on indexes, index management, and statistics. Work on SQL Server tools Work on issues related to performance tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
