IT Controls Manager
Description Our client is a rapidly growing and well financed global company in the emerging energy sector. They are recruiting for an IT Controls Manager to join their world class team. This exciting IT Controls Manager position will report to a tenured Director and also provide support for the operations team and their cutting edge new global level projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing their IT controls program, and will be a key player to the team. Responsibilities: • Walkthrough of significant business IT processes and applications to ensure documentation accurately reflects relevant risk, key controls, and current process. • Identify key risks and controls, optimizing controls within business processes and the IT environment. • Review documentation including narratives and flowcharts to identify areas where control enhancements or improvements are needed. • Perform testing for key IT general control and application controls as well as related interfaces. • Assess identified deficiencies and work with process owners to identify an appropriate solution/remediation plan. Follow-up on and track remediation activities to verify appropriate resolution. • Review SOC 1 report evaluations to ensure exceptions are appropriately addressed and that appropriate complementary controls are in place and operating effectively. • Partner with business process and application owners on system conversions or implementation to provide future state controls design • Collaborate with fellow team members and business stakeholders, including multicultural teams and in global locations. • Facilitate improvement of the IT risk and control environment by educating operations Please forward your resume in confidence to Raj Khanna, Senior Vice President at Robert Half or directly via LinkedIn for consideration for this or one of our other immediate openings in the Washington, DC area. Requirements • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is required • 5 or more years of experience in the design, planning and implementation of IT controls including both general and application controls • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification or CPA is preferred • Demonstrated knowledge of IT general controls is essential for this role • Proficiency in assessing and managing Enterprise Risk • Experience with SAP and Coupa is a plus • Prior experience with SOC reporting is preferred • Should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Familiarity with IT audit standards and methodologies is necessary. • Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
