IT Country Manager and Business Partner for Israel

We are looking for a Senior IT leader to have the overall responsibility for the strategic partnership between the Global Information Systems organization (GIS) and Applied materials Israel business units. In this role you will hold overall responsibility for all the IT systems and services provided by GIS in Israel.
Key Responsibilities
+ Be strategic partner to applied materials Israel leadership to link the IT strategy to the business objectives and hold the responsibility for all the IT services and deliverables in Israel.
+ Drive and support the overall IT landscape across business applications , R&D and operations.
+ Collaborate effectively with global teams to initiate programs and drive them to execution.
+ Identify business requirements and turn them into working plans.
+ Ensure high level of customer satisfaction from overall IT systems, infrastructure, and services.
+ Manage the IT demand and the business budgets. representing the “Voice” of the customer.
+ Effectively manage changes, be the change agent and managing escalations effectively.
+ Lead the Israel IT team (matrix)
Requirements
+ 10+ years of **managerial and influential IT** experience in large corporates (500+ employees) – Must
+ BA / BSc in relevant field – Must . M.sc / MBA is preferred.
+ Experience as application manager / regional or BU IT manager – Strong advantage.
+ Proven ability to work with executive managements.
+ Experience with business application and business processes.
+ ERP and / or strong business processes knowledge - Required
+ Strong business and financial understanding.
+ Strong operation, execution and leadership skills
+ Strong communication & collaboration skills
+ Proven track record of influence managers across organizational barriers
+ Ability to effectively amplify signals when business issues are truly impactful, dampen noise when they are not, and have the maturity to know the difference.
+ Experience with global work environment and global culture orientated.
+ Travel abroad as needed (about 15%)
+ Fluent English – Must.
