Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture and Design
• Develop and maintain enterprise IT and cybersecurity architectures that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, evaluate solutions, and implement systems that meet organizational goals.• Design and implement cloud, on-premises, and hybrid IT solutions that ensure security, availability, and scalability.
Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation
• Create and enforce security policies, protocols, and standards across IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Assess current security measures and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.• Lead the implementation of identity and access management (IAM), network security, data encryption, and endpoint protection solutions.
Technology Leadership
• Act as a technical expert for IT teams, providing guidance on security frameworks, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Ensure alignment of IT and cybersecurity solutions with organizational objectives and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Conduct risk assessments, network assessments, and audits to validate security controls.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement• Partner with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, and external vendors, to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Present architectural strategies, risks, and solutions to executive leadership in clear, nontechnical terms.• Foster relationships with external partners to stay informed on new cybersecurity threats and trends.Documentation and Continuous Improvement
• Create detailed documentation for IT and cybersecurity solutions, including system designs, procedures, and protocols.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance and security measures to ensure alignment with evolving business needs.• Stay current on emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:Technical Knowledge
• Deep expertise in IT architecture, including cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises systems.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls), and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS).• Proficiency in system integration, DevOps, and secure application development.
• Experience with automation, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
