The Data Analyst will be a key member of the EMEA IT team and also work with the global Business Analytics team. The data analyst will develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems and business insights and solutions based on data sourced analysis, visualizations and data solutions utilizing statistical analysis methodologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with key stakeholders to clearly define reporting requirements in support of strategic decision making. This encompasses the entire BI reporting cycle from standard reports, ad-hoc analysis, to dashboard maintenance.Work with business partners to validate data integrity and data quality as it relates to the impact on business requirements.Design, manage and maintain data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.Analyze reports and data to identify and articulate trends, outliers, quality issues, and continuously evaluate report validity and suggest improvements.Provide ongoing support to ensure availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for external and internal users.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Develop solutions in the areas of workflows and document management.Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or Finance (or equivalent years’ experience).3+ years’ experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasetsStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI, Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (Python, XML, Java script, etc.)Excellent communications skills – both written and verbalEffecting problem solving, collaborative, and analytical skillsAbility to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlinesPrefer experience with Infor LNPrefer experience with Power BIPrefer experience with workflow and document management systems ideally from InforLanguage skills in English and Czech required, other European languages such as Italian, French and German are welcomed.Our Values
