IT Data Analyst & Project Controls Specialist
Job Description Tool Development and Automation: o Excel Expertise: Design and develop complex spreadsheets using advanced formulas, macros, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to automate repetitive tasks and ensure accuracy and efficiency in data processing across multiple systems. o Automation of Data Handling: Automate the transfer and integration of data between systems (Excel, Access, iTAR, RCR, Power BI), reducing manual entry and improving workflow efficiency. o Relational Databases & Access: Create and manage relational databases in Microsoft Access to store, organize, and retrieve project and operational data. Integrate these databases with other tools for improved reporting and data analysis. o Power BI Dashboards: Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize project performance, risks, and other critical metrics, enabling informed decision-making and real-time insights into project status.  Data Integration & Management: o Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple internal systems, including iTAR, RCR, and others, into centralized platforms ensuring consistency and reliability across tools and processes. o Data Quality & Validation: Implement data validation and quality checks to maintain the integrity of project information, ensuring that changes in one system (e.g., breaking links or data updates) do not disrupt others. o Data Clean-Up & Organization: Clean up and organize company files across all sites, ensuring consistent, error-free data integration and optimizing reporting functionality across tools.  Reporting & Visualization: o Dynamic Reporting: Develop dynamic reports and visualizations to track and communicate project performance, risks, and key metrics effectively to stakeholders. Leverage Power BI for drill-down capabilities that offer detailed analysis of project data. o Cost Management Reports: Work with cost management teams to build and automate reports that streamline data processing and highlight key cost performance indicators.  Training & Support: o Team Collaboration: Provide training and support to project teams and site personnel on the use of tools, ensuring efficient utilization in daily workflows. o Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Offer ongoing support for troubleshooting any issues that arise with the data systems or tools, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of workflows.  Proactive Solution Proposals: o Creative Solutions: Propose and implement creative solutions to automate and streamline data processes, ensuring that systems operate efficiently and reliably without crashes or errors in data transfer.  Collaboration and Communication: o Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly COST teams, to maintain and improve tools used across sites. Act as a liaison to ensure that all tools remain functional, and data flows seamlessly between systems. o Effective Communication: Communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders and site personnel, ensuring clarity and understanding for all users. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. (preferred in order to hire FTE)  Proven experience in data integration, project controls, project management, or a related role.  5-10 years of professional experience within Business Data Analysis  Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, Power BI, and SQL.  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.  Demonstrated ability to automate processes and streamline workflows using advanced data management tools.  Attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on ensuring error-proof data integration and maintaining system functionality.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with teams across various functions and sites. - null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
