Our client, a leader in the life sciences industry, is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting the R&D IT systems team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a self-starter mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Data Analytics Engineer
**Location: Remote**
**Pay Range: $75-$90/hour**
**What's the Job?**
+ Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient and scalable AI/ML solutions for life sciences data and analytics.
+ Liaise with data scientists and engineers to implement data-driven AI/ML solutions for drug discovery analytics.
+ Create Python scripts and algorithms to clean, transform, and extract data from multiple sources.
+ Conduct regular code reviews and manage GitHub code repositories.
+ Collaborate with the AWS cloud provider on sizing solutions and performance tuning.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience in the life sciences industry.
+ Proficiency in AWS SageMaker and strong skills in Python and SQL.
+ Experience with Jupyter notebooks and data visualization tools like Tableau.
+ Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
+ Ability to work with large clinical real-world evidence data sets.
