IT Data Engineer

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our Intelligent Operations IT Data team in Warsaw. In this role, you will have a significant impact by designing and developing a cloud-based analytical platform that extracts, transforms, publishes, and visualizes data. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of data professionals, revolutionizing the management and activation of IT Data at P&G. Job Responsibilities + Collaborate with multi-functional teams and business users to identify and understand data requirements to address in analytics environment + Build and maintain data flow in Databricks that assembles large, complex data sets which meets functional and non-functional business requirements + Leverage coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components in CI/CD-oriented environment + Create Power BI semantic models and reports + QualificationsQualifications + Python and SQL programming skills + Knowledge of best practices when it comes to modelling, Star/Snowflake schema and how to optimally model data; + English proficiency and at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer / Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business / Management Information Systems or Software Development + Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure stack (including Databricks, ADF, etc.) + Experience/knowledge about CI/CD process; + Good communication and analytical skills, passion for continuous learning + Openness to learn visualization tools Job Qualifications Nice to Have + Experience with Power BI in cloud-oriented environment – workspaces, deployment pipelines etc.; + Experience with creation and tuning of Power BI semantic models and reports; + Basic knowledge of DAX ; + Knowledge of SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.
