What You'll Do

Splunk administration experience in either on-prem or Splunk Cloud capacity.Responsible for managing and monitoring of the Splunk Cloud instance.This role will provide guidance and direction into the functional design, configuration, data management, reporting, support, and best practices for leveraging and managing Splunk within the internal environments across multiple segments.This individual will develop and execute the Enterprise Splunk ingestion processes including capacity planning, infrastructure, and functional impact analysis. The candidate will implement the integration of multiple infrastructure and application health and performance systems into Splunk as needed.Assist in data analysis with regards to Splunk data sourcetypes as well as creation and troubleshooting of Splunk reports, queries, dashboards, and alerts.o Assist with documentation and documenting new data ingestions as well as provide troubleshooting assistance from the Tier2 and Tier 3 support teams.

What You'll Bring

3+ yrs experienceFamiliarity and experience with the Splunk SPL query language, experience creating dashboards, queries, alerts in Splunk, ability to troubleshoot issue with Splunk connectivity including, networking, server (windows and Linux), and application tiers.Familiarity with Windows debugging/troubleshooting toolset (e.g. Procmon, Procexp, Autoruns, WinDbg, NetMon/MMA/Wireshark) oMust be able to communicate clearly verbally and via email.Experience in configuring and maintaining Active Directory (e.g. DNS, PKI, GPO, ADFS, AD hardening, etc.)Scripting or declarative languages (e.g. PowerShell, VB, Bash, SQL, regex, etc.)

Scripting experience - Powershell, Python, Bash

Optional Skills 

Security skill/knowledge and experience.
