Job Summary The IT Database Management Team Leader is responsible for the strategic planning, technical planning, design, and implementation of data management platforms. This person works collaboratively with IT Services to build client relationships and develops and manages a technically strong and project oriented support team of database administrators. Job Responsibilities + Operate and maintain the production database environments to ensure system reliability/availability and performance expectations of customers are achieved. + Ensure effective and efficient change control management of the production environments. + Collaborate with business partners to plan and optimize system utilization. + Establish and monitor metrics for performance oversight and process improvement. + Participate in the development of the technical architecture strategies for technology platforms including, but not limited to, database, automated event management, batch scheduling, etc. + Ensure a cross-functional and team approach to resource allocation and problem resolution. + Development of the Database Administration projects from planning and design to implementation. + Ensure cost-effective utilization of IT and corporate IT assets. + Research of new technologies and architectural solutions. Perform feasibility analyses, provide input to business cases, and provide recommendations as appropriate. + Develop and maintain key relationships with Business Unit, other IT Infrastructure groups, IT Operations, and key service partners. + Ensure the proper utilization and development of all team members. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor's degree + Five years of relevant IT experience in a service provider environment. + Project management experience involving technical and work direction for a work group. + Organizational and planning skills. Preferred Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems + Leadership skills + Operating knowledge of ITIL best practices + Working knowledge of business applications and processes End Date: 02/19/2025 Pay Range Minimum: $101,743.46 Pay Range Maximum: $152,615.06 The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
