General Purpose:
The IT Director will oversee and manage the entire IT infrastructure for the Cobbs Creek Golf campus. This includes overseeing all technology-related operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the TGR Learning Lab, the club’s food and beverage services, and other IT needs across the campus. The ideal candidate will implement effective IT strategies, ensure cybersecurity measures, and manage all IT-related hardware and software to support the organization's goals.
$100,000 - $110,000 per year
Essential Duties:
Oversee all IT operations, including network administration, cybersecurity, system updates, and software installations. Implement, monitor, and upgrade the IT infrastructure to meet the club's evolving needs, including the TGR Learning Lab and hospitality services. Provide technical support and training to staff across all departments, including food and beverage, administration, and the TGR Learning Lab. Collaborate with department heads to assess and address IT-related needs for various operational aspects. Develop, implement, and manage IT policies and procedures. Ensure the security of the club’s data, networks, and systems, implementing best practices for data protection. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for software, hardware, and IT services. Maintain accurate records of all IT assets and ensure optimal performance and availability. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend new tools and solutions that will benefit the campus.Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with preference given to candidates with experience in hospitality or educational environments. Experience managing IT for multiple departments, including hospitality, education, or large public venues, is a plus. Physical Demands:
Typical office environment, occasionally stands and walks, frequently sits. Typically requires routine use of personal computer and general office equipment. Occasionally requires lifting of equipment up to 25 lbs.
Certificates/Licenses:
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or CISSP preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Strong knowledge of IT systems, including network administration, cloud-based solutions, cybersecurity, and general office software. Exceptional organizational skills; maintains accuracy and neatness; ability to multitask. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and manage a team when needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills to compose letters, manage phone inquiries, and facilitate IT training sessions. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other productivity tools.
