- A client is seeking out an IT Director to sit hybrid Harrison, NY. This candidate will be overseeing all 5 Systems Engineering teams. Each team is comprised of 4 Engineers and 1 Lead Engineer. This role will be a mix of personnel management, being a liaison for managing IT services, and handling any escalations that require high-level attention. The day to day will consist of 60% managing the team with duties such as performance reviews for the team leads, hiring new additions for the team, and promoting from within. There will also be about 10% hands-on technical requirements; for example: If the Systems Engineering team is facing a large networking outage or if there is a large Cyber Security incident, this person will help troubleshoot and/or help manage the complex escalation. Additionally, 15% of the day will be in charge of interfacing with vendors and managing the relationships with the clients. The last 10% of this role will be conducting trainings and overseeing/ creating agendas for weekly meetings with the 5 teams. $65/hr - $70/hr.
