TEKsystems is seeking a IT Disaster Recover Project Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii. Description This resource should be able to sit with IT teams that manage our on-prem data center as well as our cloud infrastructure, and ensure testing/exercises adequately test contingency solutions. -Serves as project lead in the annual BancWest Disaster Recovery Exercise. -Works with business units, IT support staff (Network, Server, End User), and Fidelity Information Services (FIS), to coordinate testing. -Prepares and submits reports on compliance and testing requirements for Management approval. -Keeps abreast of business continuity best practices and recommend processes to apply to Bank’s overall IT disaster recovery plan. 2. Assists with the development and the implementation of strategic plans/goals for the department (20%) -Manages, mentors, trains, and supports department staff members. -Improves operating efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve customer service. -Assumes role and responsibilities in the absence of the Department Manager.
