About the RoleThe IT Engineer-ALM Operations is globally responsible for Magna Electronics ALM operations to ensure a stable environment and continuous improvement. The role is responsible for resolving incidents related to application deployments and operations. This includes troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures to minimize future incidents. The role works in partnership with internal & external stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of ALM platforms globally to drive business success.
Your Responsibilities Responsible for the operations of the Code Quality platforms & its associated components Responsible for Installation of Code Quality platforms in Server(s) Ensures that the support organization can fix all solution related tickets (incidents, service requests, problems, changes, knowledge base articles, technical trainings) Responsible for all interactions with Code Quality platform suppliers & internal business users Support in Code Quality platforms evaluation(s) Monitor & optimization of license usage together with license management & draft appropriate measures in case of deviation together with License Management and Code Quality team Plan, coordinate, or conduct technical activities for continuous improvement of the Code Quality toolchain Who we are looking for Comprehensive knowledge in Tool, System Administration & customization of Code Quality toolchain (LDRA, QAC, Mend, System weaver) Basic knowledge of Code Quality processes Knowledge in operating an enterprise Code Quality tool (Standard IT support, operations & maintenance) Advanced programming & scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript) Knowledge of licensing servers and hosting systems (IT Infrastructure) related to Code Quality tool Basic knowledge of Automotive Standards e.g., V-Model, SPICE/CMMI or comparable Your preferred qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a major in engineering or Information technology Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in ALM area particularly with Code quality platforms and in IT administration and Server maintenance Skills to create Intune Package(s) of tools preferred Certification in Code Quality Tools is a plus What we offerAt Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
