General Summary:

Qualcomm, a global leader in semiconductor technology, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in building and maintaining mission critical applications and services. This critical role represents a strategic mix of deploying new technologies, modernizing traditional services, roll out of new capabilities. As a Qualcomm IT DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of delivering end-to-end solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address their business needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead DevSecOps efforts through automation, debugging, and implementing solutions to improve applications performance, reliability and scalability.Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies and solutions including SaaS that enhance developer productivity enhancements.Leverage expert Software Application knowledge to provide critical technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations product demonstrations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex engineering needs into actionable architectural solutions.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical executive-level stakeholders.Mentor and guide other engineers and technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning in DevSecOps practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
9+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.10+ years of Software Applications Engineering and DevOps or related work experience.Prior experience with technical leadership responsibility.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$141,600.00 - $212,400.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
