Lead Enterprise Architecture Strategy: Develop and execute the enterprise architecture Strategy in alignment with business objectives and long-term IT strategy, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving the targeted future stage. Guide Business in all enterprise architecture relevant decisions and identify cross business type synergiesChampion Digital Transformation: Act as the lead architect for strategic/transformation initiatives, partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, effective solutions. Evaluate and implement the best-fit technologies and approaches
Optimize Portfolio: Streamline the application portfolio to reduce complexity, eliminate redundancies, and enhance performance and scalability
Ensure Seamless Integration: Oversee the integration of enterprise systems and ensure data consistency, security and a smooth flow of information in end-to-end processes
Establish Governance: Implement robust governance frameworks to manage IT assets effectively, ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements
Shape the Technology Roadmap: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies. Recommend and integrate innovations like AI, IoT, and cloud platforms to maintain a competitive edge
Foster Leadership and Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to the architecture community and technical teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation
Monitor Success Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate enterprise architecture initiatives. Regularly report outcomes, opportunities, and challenges to senior leadership
Your defining qualities
Experience & SkillsUniversity Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similarExtensive experience (8+ years) in enterprise architecture and IT asset management, ideally in large-scale transformation programs and global organizations
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the business (ideally in the industrial business) and its associated processes and needs, with the ability to design technology solutions that deliver value to internal and external customers
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and asset lifecycle management best practicesExperience in LeanIX for Enterprise Architecture ManagementProven track record of optimizing application portfolios and managing IT assets to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency and enhance business valueExpertise in a wide range of technologies, including cloud platforms, microservices, data management, and emerging technologies such as AI and IoTExperience with products from major software companies such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft, AWS and Snowflake
