IT Enterprise Risk Management Analyst II

Job Overview The IT Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding Pennymac's technology landscape. This role will assist in developing, implementing, and overseeing second line risk management activities, including risk assessments, policy development, and control testing. The IT ERM Analyst will collaborate with Technology division leadership to ensure that IT policies, processes, and procedures are followed, while fostering a strong risk management culture across the organization. A Typical Day The IT Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst will assisting with the development, implementation, and oversight of second line risk management activities for Information Technology including Risk Assessments, Policies, Monitoring, and any associated remediation. The IT Enterprise Risk Management Analyst will: Work with Technology division leadership to implement IT risk management activities: Identify the list of processes that define the IT domain Assist with the development of Risk Assessments based on Pennymac’s ERM framework Assist with the development of corporate and division policies necessary to mitigate Risk Assessment and Risk Report exposures Assist in the development of QC routines across Technology division disciplines; and Coordinate monitoring requirements with Internal Audit, and ensure linkage of Risk KPIs to Performance Evaluation Serve as the second line of defense to ensure that IT policies, processes, and procedures are followed Assist with the development and administration of the Technology control environment Maintain a contemporary understanding of Technology division owned Policy Requirements and associated Quality Assurance and Quality Control reporting in place Facilitate risk management feedback loops to ensure a consistent understanding of the development, maintenance, and results of first, second, and third line testing routines Develop clear and concise presentations for executive management Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values What You’ll Bring An ability to prioritize work and to function independently and within a team Functional knowledge of information security and enterprise IT concepts Experience working with internal/external auditors and an understanding of SOX and SOC 1 Excellent critical thinking, problem solving skills and sound judgment Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management Excellent communication skills (Written, Verbal) Why You Should Join As one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
