Overview The IT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Admin’s role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of ERP systems and applications. The ERP Admin ensures these systems run smoothly, optimizing efficiency and providing strategic insights into company operations. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide their development team to ensure that these systems run smoothly, optimizing efficiency and providing strategic insights into company operations. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Ensure that ERP and CRM applications meet corporate objectives, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve business requirements issues. Gather, analyze, and define end-user requirements for CRM data access and usability in accordance with business objectives. Assist in creating long-term strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high data quality in conjunction with CRM users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for CRM software administration and appropriate use. Acquisition & Deployment Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy ERP and CRM applications, systems software, and associated products throughout the enterprise. Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any ERP and CRM application under consideration to determine its intended functionality. Collaborate with analysts, developers, and system owners in testing new ERP and CRM programs and applications. Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. Negotiate contracts and liaise with ERP and CRM software suppliers for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies. Conduct research on new and emerging ERP and CRM technologies or technologies that can be leveraged through existing investments. Operational Management Liaise with network administrators and software engineers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing. Establish service-level agreements with CRM users and provide on-call technical support for these users. Devise, coordinate, and conduct data-cleansing initiatives to purge and eliminate corrupt or redundant information from the CRM database. Benchmark CRM initiatives against best practices to ensure optimal performance. Investigate and fix fields that have become outdated due to new business/value rules, new processes, or redesigned data warehouses. Formulate and conduct training sessions and teaching materials to propagate the organization's CRM knowledge. Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, patches, upgrades, and/or purchases. Manage all aspects of the CRM team, including hiring, mentoring, disciplinary action, performance reviews, termination, and scheduling. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Requires 4+ years of direct experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of ERP and CRM systems. Requires 2+ direct experience as a manager for major ERP and CRM application integration and/or major application product release. Skills & Abilities Proven experience overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of ERP and CRM solutions. Direct, hands-on experience with automated software and system management tools. Expert business acumen competencies, demonstrating extensive understanding and advanced skills with demonstrated application. An expert understanding of indirectly and directly managing multiple workstreams and projects. Leads by example through developing broad project leadership that effectively assigns responsibilities and sets clear expectations while assuring a high level of understanding. Constantly communicates both upstream and downstream while coaching and developing others. Highly advanced understanding of listening, verbal, and written communication competencies and skills with extensive demonstrated application of the skills. Highly advanced skills for solving complex problems, developing solutions, and teaching and developing others. Highly advanced and demonstrated skills in developing and managing budgets across multiple projects, workstreams, and programs. Demonstrated ability to manage projects for on-time and on-budget metrics and coach and develop others. Exceptional time management competencies demonstrated through extensive experience delivering and managing others in delivering highly complex programs and projects on time and on budget. Highly advanced presentation development and delivery skills.
