As the IT Executive Director of Technology Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting the Chief Information Officer/VP in planning and implementing strategic business plans, infrastructure, and related matters for computerized information technology (IT). Responsible for driving strategic technology initiatives and overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology operations while ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of IT services.

The IT Executive Director of Technology Operations is responsible for:
Supervising and ensuring the IT Services, data center operations, service delivery, and architects meet customers’ needs and align with organizational goals and objectives. Manage the technology operations of the organization.Maintains a highly competent staff to meet the objectives and strategies of the organization.Oversee the development and implementation of technology projects.Ensure that technology projects are completed on time and within budget.Work closely with other members of the executive team to develop and implement technology strategies.Develops IT policy and procedures.Maintains a high level of service management.Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners.Ensure that the organization is compliant with all relevant technology regulations and standards.Responsible for assisting with Joint Commission requirements with respect to Information Systems function.Responsible for assisting with HIPAA requirements with respect to Information Systems function.Responsible for assisting with Patient Safety requirements with respect to Information Systems function.Manage the technology budget for the organization.Enhance professional growth and development through education programs, workshops or other educational opportunities that may be presented. Required: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related healthcare field; Master's degree preferred.Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in healthcare technology and operations experience, including five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Experience implementing complex and integrated information systems.
Proven experience in technology operations management, including infrastructure, systems administration, and IT support.
Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure, systems administration best practices, and emerging trends in the industry.
Knowledge of healthcare data security and privacy principles, as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, aligning technology strategies with organizational objectives.
Proven track record of successful project management and delivering solutions within budget and on schedule.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with experience in contract management and procurement.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to think analytically and problem-solve complex issues.
