Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Financial Analyst in the service industry, based in WESTLAKE, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and analyzing financial reporting related to specific products, communicating effectively with clients, and ensuring the accuracy of reporting. Additionally, you will be a key resource for evaluating the efficiency of collection operations through data analysis and evaluation of operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets, and procedures. Responsibilities: • Support and analyze specific product production processes and reporting, aiding in client education and communication • Utilize database tools like SAS, SQL, Java, and Excel to create actionable insights about product and portfolio performance • Generate operational reports and key performance indicators • Collaborate with operations managers to establish forecasts, resource requirements, and conduct analysis with respect to budgets • Develop and prepare reports that provide insight into portfolio performance, such as accounting aging, default rates, payment rates, write-offs, and recoveries • Create reports that offer insight into the effectiveness of collection strategies such as contract rates and outcomes by channel, cost to collect, recoveries by vintage, collection agency scorecards, and strategy level reporting • Identify strengths, weaknesses, and financial impacts of programs or services • Recognize opportunities for service or program improvements based on findings • Develop special reports and recommendations • Identify areas for product enhancements based on data analysis. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server is a must for the role of IT Financial Analyst. • The candidate should have a strong command of C Sharp Programming (C#). • Experience with Tableau is a necessary requirement for this position. • The ability to create and manage Custom Reports is expected from the prospective applicant.
