IT Financial Analyst

Our client, a leading university in the Boston area, is seeking an IT Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the IT department. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and process improvement while collaborating with leadership and project managers.

Responsibilities:Analyze and track IT budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.Provide financial reporting and insights to leadership.Oversee financial administration of IT projects, ensuring compliance with policies.Support capital project budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Develop and refine financial models and key performance metrics.Assist in budget planning and financial close processes.Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide data-driven insights.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred).7+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in higher education or non-profit.Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and financial systems (Workday, Concur, Banner).
