IT Financial Controller
Description We are in the search for an IT Financial Controller to join our team in Orlando, Florida. The Lead Portfolio & Planning Analyst plays a critical role within the Portfolio & Program Strategy team, which oversees the planning, funding, portfolio, and program management of key initiatives. This position will report to the Manager - Portfolio Planning & Management and focus on financial forecasting, capacity planning, and portfolio prioritization. + Drive a product-centric portfolio by providing strategic roadmaps for annual and long-term expense plans. + Lead project forecast planning for large-scale programs. + Partner with Finance teams to provide cause for change variances, assist in monthly/quarterly close procedures, and generate financial updates. + Consolidate and communicate financial data to project, product, and portfolio teams, resolving variances across planning cycles and escalating risks when necessary. + Synthesize complex financial and operational information into concise reports and presentations for executive leadership. + Analyze and maintain reports for capacity planning, forecast rationalization, and prioritization. + Provide insights and reporting on key financial activities such as Long-Term and Annual Plans. + Ensure accurate financial inputs within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system. + Develop strong partnerships and collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve planning or financial issues. Requirements Basic Qualifications: + Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in financial planning, portfolio management, or related fields. + Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. + Ability to drive teams to meet deadlines and deliver results in a dynamic business environment. + Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. + Experience working with both creative and technical teams in a collaborative environment. + Strong business communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. + Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills. + Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with MyPPM Project Management Software. + Prior experience in financial planning within a technology-driven organization. Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
