Job Summary:
The IT FP&A Lead is responsible for providing financial insights, planning, and analysis to support the Finance department's strategic and operational decision-making. This role involves end to end accountability for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis from IT standpoint to ensure that organization meets its financial goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the detailed financial planning, reporting and analysis and provide in-depth analysis and insights.Responsible for all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis of actuals vs budget/forecastLead the forecasting and annual budgeting processes as well as the revenue planning process.Participate in or lead global/regional FP&A initiatives and other special projects.Lead and support the alignment of the FP&A Operating ModelDevelop and execute a technology roadmap that aligns with the business strategy for finance, focusing on scalability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.Works to optimize the financial performance of the company.Partner with key stakeholders from with FP&A team to define requirements, develop solutions, and support new initiatives.Mentor and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.Develop and continuously improve capability roadmaps in collaboration with business stakeholders to inform Product Roadmaps and IT resourcing needs to meet business objectives.Help the business identify technology opportunities to optimize or transform business operations; gain efficiencies through automation or other reduction of non-value add activities.Aid the Business Analysts in documenting the impacts of new strategies on people, processes, and technology to ensure successful technology implementation and adoption.Be responsible for the communication, reporting, and leading meetings to ensure business stakeholders are aligned and projects and enhancements progress to plan.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within the IT or technology sectorExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan).Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align with IT strategic objectives.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Working Conditions:
