IT Help Desk/End-User Support Specialist Intern — Summer 2025

You’re a genuine part of our team, our culture and the impact we make on the world. With hands-on learning experiences, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Gallup users, including visiting associates, have world-class technical support to do their jobs perfectly. You will work to build close relationships with Gallup associates and educate them in a Microsoft Windows end-user and server environment and in an Apple Mac environment. You will be responsible for supporting all office technology and equipment, including troubleshooting workstations and workstation software, maintaining network equipment (e.g., file servers, routers and switches), and monitoring all critical business systems and applications for up-time and availability.

What you need:

Current enrollment in an associate or undergraduate school program at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, and working toward a degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field required; August 2025-May 2026 graduates preferred, will consider 2027 graduates Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer in Omaha required; must be available to work Monday-Friday in our Omaha Riverfront office Broad knowledge of networking, computer hardware and software applications and experience troubleshooting technical issues required The ability to learn new processes and systems quickly and multitask while maintaining a customer-oriented focus required Experience in a Windows user and server environment and experience supporting all Microsoft Office applications preferred; Apple Mac experience a plus Eligibility to work in the United States is required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
