Hourly Rate:  $18/hr. - $22/hr.  Based on experience

JOB SUMMARY

The function of the IT Help Desk Support Specialist is to provide first level support to the organizations users via phone and Email, as well as adding, updating and monitoring Help Desk tickets utilizing the Help Desk system.  This is a support position, mainly providing telephone assistance.

 

Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A.     Education/Regulatory Requirements:

o    High school diploma Preferred

o    MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) preferred.

B.     Skills:

o    A minimum of 1 year of Technical School or Help Desk experience is preferred.

o    Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting. 

o    Knowledge of current software including MS Office 2010/2013, and Windows 7/8

C.     Professional Requirements:

o    Excellent communication skills; experience in dealing tactfully with a variety of people. 

o    Must be able to work equally well in a team environment as well as individually.

o    Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
