Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Serves as a liaison between IT and Medical Imaging departments.
Responsible for daily support of Imaging systems throughout McLeod Health, to ensure 24x7 end user access to imaging systems.
Assists in the design, documentation, analysis, implementation, testing, and modification of computer imaging systems or programs, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
Participates in systems maintenance, upgrades and implementations.
Assists in the development and strategy of medical imaging systems to meet the needs of McLeod Health.
Ensure all changes are made in accordance with McLeod change control, security and risk assessment policies.
Participates in support call rotations.
Meets weekly with the IT Imaging Manager, Director of Network Services to discuss the Medical. Imaging environment. To include but not limited to current system health, upcoming changes, planned/unplanned outages and upgrades.
Must maintain strict confidentiality concerning any McLeod Health information.

Qualifications/Training:
Experience in a hospital or Integrated Health Network Information Systems environment
2+ years’ experience with DICOM, medical imaging technologies, Windows/Linux server environments, networking, storage area networks
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
