IT Infra FinOps Analyst

Responsibilities

Provide good knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategiesKnowledgeable in chargeback process and improvementKnowledgeable in providing high level spend forecast and trendsExperience in developing cloud cost spend and savings reports.Knowledgeable in Finance operations (invoice tracking, good receipt, PO monitoring, etc.)Collaborate with Finance team and Cloud championsAdhere to security and governance guidelinesCollaborate with Engineering teams to implement solutionsPerform special projects or tasks in a timely mannerPromote FinOps best practices and concepts Implement policies and procedures Ability to establish IT cost management strategies, models, processes, and toolsAct as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Requirements / Certifications

4+ years of data analytics experience2+ years experience with supporting either GCP or AWS or Azure cloud spend analysis2+ years experience in developing reports (leveraging tools like GCP Looker, PowerBI, Tableau)Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of Cloud infrastructure/services Experience of managing cloud chargeback models
