Are you a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with experience in virtualization, network systems, and industrial technology? PDS Tech is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to help us build the next generation of technology infrastructure that supports our power generation plants. As part of our Generation Infrastructure, Security, & Compliance (GISC) team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy technology, ensuring secure and reliable infrastructure across SRP's fleet of generation technology assets.
Key Responsibilities Design & Implementation: Architect, design, and implement complex industrial virtualization infrastructures, including integrations with technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches/routers, and more. System Administration: Provide systems administration for critical technologies, including directory services, monitoring, patching, privileged access management, OS management, backup & disaster recovery systems. Collaboration with Cybersecurity: Work closely with the Cyber Security Services team to safeguard sensitive data, systems, applications, and physical assets. Emerging Technologies: Identify and recommend emerging technologies and technical trends, evaluating vendor technology and licensing. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Project Management: Lead and manage projects, including executive-level status reporting. Compliance: Ensure compliance with NERC CIP requirements and all relevant industry standards.
Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in virtualization engineering, including: Proficiency with VMware virtualization stacks and associated hardware/software. Familiarity with Splunk, BeyondTrust, Cohesity, Windows Server, Active Directory, ManageEngine, and similar technologies. Experience in network management, including knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching. Strong understanding of control systems technologies (e.g., Emerson, Foxboro, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, GE). Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, integrating OT and IT systems. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of security configurations, particularly regarding virtualization and networking. Willingness to work both remotely and on-site as needed, with travel to various SRP locations and generation facilities.
Preferred Qualifications Certifications: VMware Cisco Palo Alto Microsoft Cyber Security Project Management Service Management Industry Experience: Prior experience in an industrial setting is a plus. Pay Details: $70.00 to $90.00 per hour
