IT Infrastructure Analyst

Our major client in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to work within their facilities located in Orange, TX for a 4-month assignment.  

Summary: We are seeking a Junior-Level IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while supporting a variety of IT devices and systems. The ideal candidate will have basic to intermediate IT technical skills, with experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues. This role will involve a mix of office-based work and occasional exposure to industrial environments, requiring flexibility, a strong work ethic, and attention to safety.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support for a range of IT devices, including computers, laptops, iPads, and iPhones. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-user devices. Support wired and wireless connectivity for end-user devices. Collaborate with extended remote support teams for troubleshooting, learning, and guidance. Escort vendors and contractors to various work areas as needed. Maintain organization and inventory of IT equipment, testing devices for functionality, and sorting eWaste items for disposal. Lift and manage IT equipment, including boxes, UPS units, and other related hardware (up to 50lbs). Follow safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. PPE, including Nomex coveralls, safety glasses, hard hats, steel-toe boots, and gloves, will be provided and safety training will be supplied. Communicate effectively with remote support teams and other stakeholders, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Industrial space: 20% or less
