IT Infrastructure Documentation Specialist
Our client, a leader in Energy Services, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Documentation Specialist to join their team. As an IT Infrastructure Documentation Specialist, you will be part of the IT department supporting various technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** IT Infrastructure Documentation Specialist **Location:** Chapel Hill, NC (Hybid Onsite) **Pay Range:** Up to $45/hr **What's the Job?** + Document IT infrastructure, including network diagrams and software application catalogs. + Create a detailed onboarding guide for IT personnel and standardized business processes. + Track the age of key IT hardware assets and document replacement cycles. + Identify and describe routine and non-routine IT tasks. + Provide bi-weekly progress reports to management. **What's Needed?** + Understanding of IT systems and terminology to engage effectively with the IT team. + Good knowledge of standard IT security protocols. + Experience with hypervisors, such as Microsoft Hyper V or VMware ESXi. + Familiarity with network concepts, including VLANs and routing. + Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and backup configurations. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on critical IT infrastructure documentation. + Collaborative environment with skilled professionals. + Chance to contribute to the improvement of IT processes. + Engagement in a project that enhances security and efficiency. + Professional growth and development in the IT field.
