Our client is seeking an exceptional talent to bolster their Network Administration and System Administration activities. Exceptional opportunity to apply and expand on your training and experience splitting your time between Network Administration and System Administration functions. You will have a unique enterprise vantage point, understanding and having the ability to impact both the network and systems. You will report to the IT Director and have tremendous opportunity for growth and advancement. Perhaps your experience is stronger in one area versus the other. In those cases, additional training and development could be a possibility for the right candidate. If you have prior management, technical lead, and mentoring experience or the desire to gain that, then there is opportunity for that as well. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in Network Administration: routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs. Familiarity with network protocols, subnetting and network security practies. • 5+ years of experience in System Administration: manage and maintain servers, storage, and virtualization (Hyper-V, Vmware, other). Skills in system backup and recovery, plus performance monitoring and tuning. • Other technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365. Any Cloud experience is a plus. • Any additional security management experience is a plus.
