The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. He or she will oversee all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. He or she will prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project and lead and direct the work of others.
Job Description/ Requirements:
The IT Infrastructure technical Project Manager will be responsible for the design, coordination, and completion of infrastructure projects. He or she will oversee all aspects of infrastructure projects including: identifying requirements, determining infrastructure design and architecture, collaborating with vendors, estimating budgets and resources, documenting solutions, creating change tickets for implementation, monitoring progress, providing reporting, transitioning solutions to operational support, and assisting with resolving issues.Job Responsibilities:Determining project infrastructure requirements including security, performance, availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, storage, CPU, memory, connectivity, and software release levelsManaging multiple projects simultaneouslyEffectively communicating project requirementsConsulting with IT Security and Operational groups for direction and planningCreating project plans, cost, and resource estimatesDetermining priorities, dependencies, resource requirements, timelines and deployment schedulesTracking project milestones and deliverablesArchitecting infrastructure in compliance with Daimler standards and guidelinesCollaborating with IT Service Catalog manager to determine billing estimates, finalize charges, and order equipmentCreating and coordinating appropriate change ticketing for infrastructure implementation:Proper network placement and connectivityHardware installation, configuration, and cablingDevice OS configurationStorage allocationSupporting project teams as required in initial deployment, and roll outsAssisting in debugging efforts and coordinating issue resolution as requiredCreating progress reports, presentations and policies as requiredProactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plansCoaching, mentoring, motivating and supporting project team members and influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned workDeveloping best practices and tools for project execution and management.For faster process, call to - (202) 719-0200 Ext:207.
