Job Description:
Primary Objective:
The IT Systems Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s IT infrastructure with a focus on simplification, optimization, and innovation. This role requires extensive experience in virtualization, storage management, and data protection technologies, particularly with hypervisors, hyperconverged infrastructure, and backup solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Veeam, vCenter, Nutanix, and PureStorage to ensure a secure, efficient, and scalable IT environment.
In addition to infrastructure management, the IT Systems Architect will play a critical role in resolving Tier 3 employee ticket escalations, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime. By collaborating with other IT teams and staying updated with industry trends, the architect will drive continuous improvement and innovation within the IT landscape, ultimately supporting the company’s strategic goals and enhancing overall productivity.
Major Areas of Accountability
Responsible for providing advanced IT support to the global workforce by triaging, troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving issue and request tickets submitted by employees, via phone, email, and in-person
Optimize hypervisor and backup environments and troubleshoot issues
Ensure integration of compute, storage, and networking resources
Design and maintain scalable, reliable and secure IT infrastructure
Develop architecture diagrams and documentation
Communicate and present technical information to diverse types of audiences (management, users, vendors, and technical staff) in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gain understanding
Bring a new perspective, ideas, and solutions to drive change in the way the IT team delivers quality solutions to the organization, focused on continuous improvement

Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor degree in a related field / discipline or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure management role 3 years of experience managing and implementing hypervisor and hyperconverged infrastructure Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting complex infrastructure environments including hypervisor, backup and hyperconverged infrastructure
Travel Requirements: None Must possess a valid driver’s license and able to obtain automobile/liability coverage
Preferred QualificationsEducation
Experience: Experience with providing support in a manufacturing environment. Individual must have strong communication skills. Ability to solve problems independently and collaborate closely with IT team members.

Compensation Information:
$130K - $140K Dependent upon education, experience and skill
