Description:  The IT intern assists the Information Technology department in day-to-day operations in supporting the technology systems for Layton Construction.

 Duties:

Assists in imaging and initial computer setup for new hires and computer upgradesAssists in printing labels, boxes and ships new computersPerforms basic computer troubleshootingProvides assistance in onsite computer setupSets up new user accounts on the network and emailWorks with the help desk to provide onsite assistance to end usersUpdates the helpdesk ticketing systemPerforms basic repairs on computer systemsAssists in pulling network cable, and installing network jacks

Qualifications

Required: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in University.Prior internship preferred but not necessary.Construction industry experience preferred.
