We are looking for someone motivated to join our team as a Cybersecurity Administration Intern working fully on-site at our office in Cleveland, OH. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assist in the administration and updating of the organization's security stack. + Work with Microsoft365 and networking components. + Install and configure Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software, such as Cisco Secure Endpoint, Sophos XDR or SentinelOne. + Respond to security alerts and incidents. + Audit EDR deployment to ensure proper installation on all endpoints. + Collaborate with the IT team to enhance overall cybersecurity measures. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: + A high school diploma or equivalent is required. + Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. + Basic knowledge of IT and networking principles. + Experience with Microsoft365 and networking is a plus. + Familiarity with EDR tools like Cisco Secure Endpoint or SentinelOne is advantageous. + Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus but not required. KEY COMPETENCIES: + Must have a strong learning capacity and ability to work independently. + Attention to detail and a proactive attitude. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. + Must be team and career-oriented. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
