Our head office in Kingsville, ON is currently seeking an IT Intern. As an IT Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the analysis and evaluation of project data, providing insights, and contributing to decision-making processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to successfully delivering projects within our organization.

Primary Responsibilities
Comprehensive Project Portfolio Management: Involves analyzing and evaluating project data (including timelines, resources, budgets, and risks) to assess the overall health and performance of the project portfolio. Identifying trends and opportunities for optimization, supporting the development of governance frameworks Ensuring adherence to management guidelines, and facilitating informed decision-making through regular reporting. Performance Enhancement and Continuous Improvement: Aims at defining and maintaining key performance metrics, improving reporting processes for better data visualization and accuracy, and staying updated with industry best practices. Contributing to the enhancement of portfolio management methodologies, participating in lessons-learned exercises, and sharing knowledge to drive organizational improvement.
Education/Background Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Previous internship or coursework related to project management or portfolio management is preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of project portfolio management principles, including analysis and resource allocation Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com and data visualization tools like Excel, Power BI Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Experience in working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and familiarity with agile methodologies
