IT Launch - System Integration Lead
Job Description

The GM Systems Integration Lead is the single point of contact responsible for the planning, procurement, configuration, asset management, and deployment/delivery of all manufacturing centric IT infrastructure required for new GM vehicle or powertrain product launches.  GM Systems Integration Lead will gain a strong background in manufacturing plant floor system integration, manufacturing operations, manufacturing material and quality processes and systems, manufacturing 
tooling, and lean manufacturing processes.

The GM IT Launch team supports a large scope of GM vehicle and powertrain product programs. We follow a robust IT launch scope delivery methodology to ensure the highest IT manufacturing system deployment quality.  Strong collaboration with GM Manufacturing Engineering, GM Manufacturing Product Launch, GM 
Manufacturing Plants, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) is required to integrate critical IT network and systems into manufacturing production systems. 
Our corporate goal is simple; design, build, and sell the world’s best vehicles. The GM Manufacturing IT Launch Team directly supports the build component of this goal.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an IT/technical fieldKnowledge of SAN storage system hardware (i.e. Isilon, Pure storage)Familiarity with Red Hat Open Shift VM environmentsKnowledge of Windows and Linux server environmentsExperience and knowledge in IT networksKnowledge and understanding of Data Center architectureEnd-User device support experience (i.e. Windows PCs, Printers, Android-based tablets)Self-motivated and results drivenExcellent communication and collaborative skillsManufacturing related experience or a significant interest in manufacturingProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationCISCO CCNA and Microsoft MCSE certifications
