Define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data Collaborate with internal customers to elicit their business concerns and translate them into system development requirements Responsible for gathering/deciphering business requirements into an architecturally sound data designs for transactional, analytical, and reporting data that taking into consideration volume, velocity, and quality of data. Employing data management methods to achieve data architectural goals including conceptual/logical/physical data modeling. Defines and implements architecture and design in accordance with architecture principles. Expertise in Big Data Hadoop/Hive/hBase, Oracle/ Exadata Working knowledge of SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake Technical Design: DDL, ANSI SQL, PL SQL, Python, Relational Data, Unstructured data, Star Schema, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, On-line Transactional systems
