Manager at Digital Experience Enterprise Department

You will support the Experience team within the Digital Experience Enterprise department. The team consists of 7+ professionals, primarily front-end and full-stack developers, focused on delivering high-quality digital experiences. Your primary location will be our Warsaw office, where you will engage in hybrid mode collaboration, working both on-site and remotely with team members and relevant stakeholders throughout the organization.

The team you will be part of:

The Digital Experience Enterprise department focuses on enhancing GN's digital presence and improving customer engagement through innovative solutions. The department is responsible for developing and maintaining GN Enterprise online solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences, and pursuing digital transformation initiatives.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Manage a team of 7+ persons, ensuring high-quality work, mentoring, coaching team members, and supporting a collaborative work environment. This includes conducting 1-1 meetings, setting goals, performing evaluations, and supporting the personal development of team members. Make sure everyone sees themselves as part of GN, no matter where they are physically located. Exemplify behavior that aligns with the GN leadership principles and commitment.

Adequately plan and control team resources, including recruitment, retention, onboarding & offboarding, transitions, resource allocation, engaging with external partners, and providing administrative assistance to ensure the team has everything needed for work.

Manage communications inside the team, across the department, with stakeholders, and other teams in GN. Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving to maintain a cohesive and productive team environment. Ensure team goals and values are communicated, in line with the company’s vision, and contribute to long-term planning and strategy development of the department.

Apply project management techniques, frameworks, and approaches. In close collaboration with the delivery teams, identify and address issues at the right time and to the right people. Oversee operational projects and some of the cross-department improvement initiatives. Continuously seek out optimization potential for team services, processes, and capabilities.

Encourage and promote innovation within the team by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and AI tools, and implementing best practices to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Together with tech leads, create knowledge sharing and best practices in the tech domain environment.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you have:

Education at Bachelor level

Over 4 years of experience managing IT/software engineering teams, especially in the front-end tech stack

Proficiency in SDLC, enterprise cloud infrastructure, and architecture

Experience working with different project management frameworks in software engineering, including SAFe, Scrum, LeSS, or similar methodologies

Online B2B/B2C services experience

Experience with Jira/ADO or similar tools

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Readiness for business trips, primarily to Denmark

Experience in working in a cross-cultural and distributed environment.
