IT Manager

Summary: Seeking a Systems Administrator with expertise in system security, networking, and server management to support IT operations and protect sensitive information.

Job Requirements:

Experience with documentation creation and management.

Proficiency in debugging, including logfile interpretation and driver failures.

Skilled in technical communication and using issue trackers/POAMs.

Knowledge of Git revision control systems.

Windows Administration skills (Active Directory, Group Policy).

Linux Administration capabilities.

Networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, OSI network model).

Experience with Hyper-V hypervisor setup, configuration, and security.

Ability to perform operating system installation and configuration.

Powershell scripting experience.

Preferred Skills:

At least 2 out of 3 areas of expertise: System Admin, Developer or Security roles.

System Admin: - Router and managed switches security/administration. - Custom computing systems specification/building. - Firewall, VPN, multi-site Wi-Fi security/administration. - System security monitoring/reporting.

Developer: - Business systems/software Design Architect experience. - C#/.NET or C/C++ programming skills. - SQL server/database schema architecture knowledge. - Proficiency in HTML/CSS/javascript; D365 development.

Security: - CMMC level 2+ or NIST 800-171 implementation experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage documentation related to IT processes and protocols.

Debugging software/hardware issues within the IT infrastructure.

Effectively communicate technical issues to stakeholders.

Ensure version control through Git for collaborative projects.

Administer Windows/Linux servers including user/group policies.

Maintain network integrity through robust DHCP/DNS configurations.

Set up secure virtual environments using Hyper-V technology.

Install/configure operating systems across company hardware.

Automate tasks using Powershell scripts for efficiency.

Additional Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR work regulations and Secret Security Clearance requirement.

Work Week: Monday-Friday Expected Hours per Week: 40

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
