Title: IT Manager Duties: The IT Manager in this position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone's Enterprise Platform (primarily API Gateway, Messaging Platform & Memory Cache platform). This includes designing architectural solutions for both on prem & GCP cloud, teaching domain expertise, providing technical guidance and mentoring, supporting the customers, resolving problems, and providing training as required. The IT Manager will design the solution, document technical design papers, lead the implementation of technical features, improvements, and innovations. This role will collaborate with a team of scrum masters, product owners, and fellow engineers in various locations across the US, Mexico, and India to move from legacy systems to next-generation applications. You will also collaborate with architects and software consultants to ensure that functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs and identify specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures, and functions to support technical solutions while incorporating architectural designs. Possible travel to company locations in the US, India, and Mexico up to 10% of the time. Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related and 10 years of experience in Enterprise Platform (API Management, Messaging & Memory cache management), including: · Moving applications and infrastructure from on-prem to cloud implementation including GCP · Middleware, Apache, and Akamai · Unix Shell Scripting. · Defect or incident tracking software including SMAX, HP ALM/Quality Center, Remedy, ServiceNow · Gitlab · Enabling an API gateway platform · Java · Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix, and DB2 · Implementing SOA · Must also have 5 years of experience with APIGEE or Layer 7 · Must be available for travel to company locations in the US, India, and Mexico up to 10% of the time
