Job Description:

What You Will Be Doing:

Monitor and implement IT networks and systems for new or existing computer systems supporting the command or enterprisePerform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work that may include logic network design, physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, IT systems engineeringEvaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integration of these technologies into the existing network integration of these technologies into the existing networkConfigure and support virtual environments including AWS and ProxmoxManage and maintain various operating systems with a variety of users and activitiesApply cybersecurity knowledge to configure IT equipment to proper security standardsInstall, troubleshoot, and manage applications, systems, and networksTest systems and resolve security vulnerabilitiesParticipate in the government's Risk Management Framework (RMF) to maintain system accreditationDetermine appropriate IT policies to apply for systems ensuring systems are compliantCreate and update system documentation and proceduresInteract with and assist customers from various parts of USCYBERCOMHelp manage computers, servers, networks, IT security systems and other critical components of USCYBERCOM’s IT infrastructure

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph15+ years of experience as a Systems Integrator, Systems Administrator, or in a Cybersecurity roleActive CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, CND, or higher (minimum DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification)Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Cybersecurity, or related discipline

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Minimum of master’s degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Cybersecurity, or related disciplineExperience working in a NOC or Blue Team environmentUnderstanding of STIGs/IAVA and RMFA self-motivated problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solutionHas, or is willing to gain, more diverse IT skills, including Windows/Linux and networkingAble to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineeringExperience with network security products (firewalls, IDS, scanners, etc.)Experience performing vulnerability assessment and remediation of network systems to include computers, servers and network infrastructure devicesExperience with scripting (bash, python, powershell, ansible) is a plusFundamental Linux knowledge

Salary Range: 

$140,700.00 - $253,300.00
