We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is hiring an IT professional with a focused interest in Cybersecurity and Network Operations principles to serve in a NOC support role. Imagine next with Parsons as you join a team that supports and values our employees, provides opportunities for exposure to various projects, and provides innovative solutions and products to our customers. **What You Will Be Doing:** + Monitor and implement IT networks and systems for new or existing computer systems supporting the command or enterprise + Perform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work that may include logic network design, physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, IT systems engineering + Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integration of these technologies into the existing network integration of these technologies into the existing network + Configure and support virtual environments including AWS and Proxmox + Manage and maintain various operating systems with a variety of users and activities + Apply cybersecurity knowledge to configure IT equipment to proper security standards + Install, troubleshoot, and manage applications, systems, and networks + Test systems and resolve security vulnerabilities + Participate in the government's Risk Management Framework (RMF) to maintain system accreditation + Determine appropriate IT policies to apply for systems ensuring systems are compliant + Create and update system documentation and procedures + Interact with and assist customers from various parts of USCYBERCOM + Help manage computers, servers, networks, IT security systems and other critical components of USCYBERCOM’s IT infrastructure **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + **Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph** + Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Integrator, Systems Administrator, or in a Cybersecurity role + Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Cybersecurity, or related discipline; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree + Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification in active status **What Desired Skills You'll Bring** : + Experience working in a NOC or Blue Team environment + Understanding of STIGs/IAVA and RMF + A self-motivated problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution + Has, or is willing to gain, more diverse IT skills, including Windows/Linux and networking + Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering + Experience with network security products (firewalls, IDS, scanners, etc.) + Experience performing vulnerability assessment and remediation of network systems to include computers, servers and network infrastructure devices + Experience with scripting (bash, python, powershell, ansible) is a plus + Fundamental Linux knowledge is a plus **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
