Syensqo is seeking for an experienced Network and Telecom Asia Pacific lead. The Network and Telecom Asia Pacific Lead is a pivotal role within Syensqo, responsible for the strategic oversight and management of network and telecommunications infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region. This position demands a visionary leader who can drive innovation, ensure operational excellence, and align regional network strategies with Syensqo's global objectives. The Lead will play a critical role in fostering a culture of sustainability, and continuous improvement, ensuring that network services not only meet current demands but are also future-ready. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a deep understanding of emerging technologies, and a commitment to advancing Syensqo's mission of scientific exploration and sustainable innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement network and telecom strategies for the Asia Pacific region, ensuring alignment with global objectives and Syensqo's sustainability goals. Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in network services. Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the Asia Pacific region to deeply understand their unique business needs and challenges. Actively listen and translate these requirements into tailored network and telecom solutions that drive business success and align with Syensqo's strategic objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network and telecom infrastructure, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. Manage upgrades and enhancements to support evolving business needs and technological advancements. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning. Provide guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery and professional development. Project Management: Plan and execute network and telecom projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance using key metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement. Implement measures to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization. Security and Compliance: Ensure network and telecom systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Implement robust security measures to protect data and infrastructure from potential threats. Budget Management: Oversee the budget for regional network and telecom operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation. Innovation and Sustainability: Encourage the adoption of innovative and sustainable technologies and practices in network and telecom operations. Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Extensive experience in network and telecom management, with a focus on strategic planning and infrastructure optimization. Proven leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment. Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex projects and budgets. In-depth knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and security best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural organization.
