Apply with CTG for this exciting opportunity!** **CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for an IT Network Engineer II.** **Type:** Contract **Job Title:** IT Network Engineer II **Location:** Remote, EST hours expected **Pay Rate:** $35-$42/hr BOE **Work Hours:** M–F, 8am–5pm **Education:** 4-year Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; Associate’s degree plus relevant experience minimum required A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as: + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities + Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking + Ability to work independently and within a team + Adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment **Description** CTG is seeking a skilled IT Network Engineer II to join our client’s Network Engineering team. This position focuses on configuring and supporting network devices and solutions to align with the company's technology standards and business connectivity needs. The role will primarily focus on refreshing legacy Cisco assets with Arista DCS and CCS platform switches, utilizing Arista AVD and Cloudvision. **Requirements:** + Serve as network subject matter expert, offering design and implementation guidance + Deploy, maintain, and administer network environments including WAN, LAN, hardware, software, and tools + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network issues and performance bottlenecks + Participate in root cause analyses and implement preventative solutions + Develop and maintain technical documentation including low-level designs and operations guides + Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise network architecture and best practices **Required Qualifications** **Education:** + 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred) + Associate’s degree plus relevant experience (minimum required) **Qualifications:** + 4–5+ years of experience implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting network infrastructures in large enterprise or telecom environments + Strong understanding and practical experience with Layer 3 routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP + Proficiency in Cisco and Arista DCS and CCS platforms + Hands-on experience with Arista Cloudvision (required) and Arista AVD (preferred) + CCNP or equivalent Arista certification **Additional Information:** + No third party resumes will be accepted + Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted + CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws + All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third party vendors) + CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer + CTG is an E-Verify Company To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to **Krista.Eckard@ctg.com** **.** The expected base salary for this position ranges from $35 to $42. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
