IT Onsite Field Technician

As an IT Onsite Field Technician, you will be heavily focused on providing services through Proton Technologies, Inc. - a division of The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. Proton is an IT company that provides support and amazing customer service to automotive dealerships across the nation. IT support is a commodity but AMAZING customer service is not! As an IT Onsite Field Technician, you will be the first line of contact for all technical concerns onsite at your assigned accounts. In this role, you will face a variety of technical issues, allowing you to creatively problem solve in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with a professional and personable demeanor that will continuously strengthen client relationships and build rapport.
Specific responsibilities include: effective and efficient problem solving, collaborating with the help-desk to resolve on-site technical issues, fostering open communication with clients, scheduling client installations, guiding new equipment deployment, and hardware/network troubleshooting. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with ticketing system(s), Windows Active Directory, desktop operating systems (windows 10 and 11)
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Servers lineup of products
- Working knowledge of RMM software and Cisco
- Direct experience with O365 + GSuite
- Familiarity with VoIP phone systems, printer troubleshooting and network troubleshooting techniques
