IT Operations Analyst - Dublin, Ga. The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing site-level operational systems supporting the 24/7/365 manufacturing operation, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing IT processes, and reporting on technology operations to leadership. Job Responsibilities * Monitor and maintain the site\u2019s IT and Networking systems to support the 24/7/365 manufacturing operation. * Responsive to site-level operational IT needs; including responding to, evaluating, and prioritizing incoming requests for support from colleagues/end users\u2019 experiencing issues with computer hardware, software, and other computer-related technologies. * Oversee the Incident, Problem, and Change management processes for IT support on a local level and engage as needed to support corporate initiatives locally. This requires troubleshooting systems to determine the cause of failures. * Identify incident trends; recommend and implement improvements to reduce volume. * Provide first-line technical support for end-users\u2019 computer hardware and software, and printers and their network connectivity. * Engages in development of short and long-term planning of system upgrades and migrations. * Prepare & Implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the daily maintenance of applications and underlying systems. * Responsible for the definition, design, implementation, and maintenance of support infrastructure for application solutions, including writing functional specifications for vendor use in quotations, partnering with vendors to aid in repairs. * Works closely with Maintenance and Operations to identify and resolve issues * Leads troubleshooting efforts of systems and processes. * Assists project engineers and managers in the planning, development, and implementation of capital projects as needed * Manage and direct consultants, contractors, and vendors during IT and networking projects * Provide on-call support for weekend and off-hour availability to support IT mill needs as well as startup support from planned and unplanned shutdowns. On-call support is a shared responsibility among a team of professionals and is not the sole responsibility of the IT Analyst. * Adheres to all mill safety rules, participates in or may lead safety programs and meetings with the goal of improving safety at the mill. Supports the mill behavior-based safety program * Evaluates, troubleshoots, and maintains system hardware including pc\u2019s, laptops, printers, camera systems, etc. Education * Required: B.S./ B.A. Degree in Information Technology related field Experience * Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT-related field * Preferred: Experience with Ethernet networks including configuration of switches, routers and VLANs Competencies: * Safety - Exhibits strong competencies in Safety Mindset and has a thorough understanding of safety policies and procedures. * Ability to Execute - Targets and achieves results, sets and accomplishes challenging goals, prioritizes and manages tasks effectively, maintains an organized system to monitor progress, overcomes obstacles, accepts accountability, sets standards and responsibilities. * Champion of & Adaptor to Change - Drives for continuous improvement while managing expectations and results.
