IT Operations Manager

Description:-Manages a 10-15 person team consisting of full time employees and subcontractors responsible for the oversight of an IT department's Program Management Office.
-The team supports logistic, manufacturing, and aerospace programs for a 3,500-person Department of Defense contract (Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services). The operations for the contract support tens of thousands of service members throughout the globe.
-Responsible for tracking the lifecycle status of all software and hardware on a .mil network Lockheed Martin manages on behalf of a government customer. This includes projecting financial sustainment and replacement costs.
-Provides management and oversight of internal / enterprise projects supporting multiple functional areas including Business Development, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Facilities, Procurement, Security, ESH, and Program Controls.
-Heavy focus on requirements definition and management throughout the change management lifecycle. The solutions include network infrastructure, cyber security operations, transactional applications (COTS and GOTS), business workflows, interfaces, web services, and reports / analytics.
-Responsible for producing a basis of estimates (BOEs) for all enterprise-funded IT work. The BOE’s establish the budget and delivery timeline for the solutions. Ensures all contract deliverables are on time and within budget /scope.
-Daily contact with customers in order to manage scope, foster relationships, and set expectations.
-Key member of the Disaster Recovery / Continuity of Operations (DRCOOP) Team and IT’s primary POC for Command Media artifacts.
-Responsible for collating and reporting departmental metrics as defined in the overall contract's Performance Work Statement.

Basic Qualifications:
CompTia Security + certification
ITIL certification
IT Change Management experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management software
Experience on the SOF GLSS contract
Military Experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
