Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for IT Operations Managers in Atlanta, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support ongoing commitment to Robotic Process Automation.
+ Establish operating procedures and technical standards, build out a delivery team, and maintain relationships with internal customers, application owners, and vendor partners.
+ Advance Delta Air Lines’ RPA capabilities and grow RPA services team systematically as business needs continue to grow.
+ Responsible for project delivery from vision to delivery of the process architecture within automation.
+ Responsible for RPA advisory, including designing Centre of Excellence, governance, control, and operating models in robotic delivery.
+ Review process automation opportunities and determine feasibility of same scope in conjunction with Technical Product Engineer team, impart Robotic knowledge to our clients and play an important role in communicating the robotic solution in client meetings by providing high level understanding of RPA and responding to client queries from RPA advisory, implementation, and technology perspectives.
+ Establish standards for relevant documents aimed at process/solution design, test planning, etc.
+ Design education and training programs while working with Blue Prism, Microsoft, and PagerDuty for ongoing training needs within the team.
+ Responsible for systems development life cycle including requirements definition, program development, testing, documentation, training and deployment, support, and maintenance.
+ Execute and manage an Agile work stream and approach, delivering iterative value each sprint cycle.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to automate business processes, including re-engineering as needed.
+ Document user stories depicting business requirements and exceptions.
+ Manage the detailed tasks required to deliver high quality automation solutions to achieve a consistent high standard of solution creating a positive impact on our business stakeholders.
+ Define, design, configure, and test deliverables and ensure stakeholders are regularly appraised of status and progress.
+ Remove blockers to delivery and escalate issues when appropriate.
+ Identify risks and dependencies within Process Delivery and effectively manage these across internal departments and Blue Prism as necessary to deliver.
+ Complete application assessment for in-scope business applications and estimate automation complexity.
+ Define test plans and methods to ensure successful delivery of automated solution.
+ Oversee bot build execution schedule and ensure planned benefits are realized.
+ Conduct analyses used to support management decisions.
+ Proactively communicate any potential risks, delays, or any challenges during the automation development sprints.
+ Coordinate among multiple cross functional teams to achieve program objectives.
+ Coordinate UAT & post-deployment validation.
+ Facilitate proof of concepts, upgrade communication, and planning with Tech Leads and migration efforts.
+ 10% international & domestic travel.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in product management, automation, or related. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in product management, automation, or related.
Must have work experience in:
+ Managing expectations, partnering, and executing professional communication with business stakeholders and collaborating across verticals
+ Agile and devops frameworks
+ Agile requirements, including Epics stories, and ensuring the delivery of tangible and measurable benefits
+ Developing and deploying RPA solutions; and
+ Blue Prism and Power Platform applications
