About the Role

As a System Owner specializing in Cloud and Microsoft Azure and containers, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.

   
What you’ll do

Design and Implement Infrastructure: Collaborate with software engineers to build, test, and deploy platforms on private cloud or Azure. Create strategies for collaboration, security, compliance, and continuous integration. Collaborate with different infrastructure teams within SAP. Automation and CI/CD: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance deployment processes. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Security and Compliance: Ensure security and compliance and procedures. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions. Resolve critical system issues and build up RCAs. Maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.

 
What you bring

Proficiency in cloud computing concepts and Microsoft Azure. Experience with containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with scripting languages for automation. A proactive mindset and a passion for staying updated with technology trends.

Here we act as a trusted advisor and expert, driving together to build and run scalable secure applications in modern, dynamic environments utilizing SAP/ custom developed and 3rd party software stack.
DevSecOps is the guiding strong methodology enabling Continuous Development and Integrations in an agile environment. SAP's internal business landscapes build on private, respectively hybrid cloud platforms are a strategic enabler for SAP and therefore crucial for SAP's future success in the cloud.
